Client concieved of exhibit to catalog all existant lighthouses world wide. Design solution was provided and approved, which was structured to allow for client data entry and general accesibility. With nominal html and Dreamweaver training, the client is currently building all lighthouse pages based on the provided page template and file naming structure. (The globe was broken down using a branched structure and 7-level digit-pair naming. The overall interface uses as little text as possible to avoid language barriers for international visitors. Shown at left ate the 'home' screen (world map), a 3rd level zoom in to the United States map, and a final lighthouse information screen. On average, the user proceeds easily through 3 to 7 map views with intuitive zoom, pan, and cross-continental movement options included in the coding.
This project is currently only viewable on site at the Ponce de Leon Inlet Light Station.
